Shaw - "Fun for Free"
Boy, it's the simple things in life that sometimes bring the most joy!
I have to share with you all a couple of free "joy-filled" moments from this week. I'm not sure if I've shared this before, I can't imagine that I haven't, but I'm a fan of coffee. :) In particular, I'm a fan of Starbucks, and unfortunately, they didn't just pay me to say that. :( But, in these days of cutting cost on every little thing, it's nice to get some freebies with the things you enjoy.
So earlier this week I spent some time perusing through Borders and then took advantage of their free wifi while sipping on a free coffee I got from a coupon. That was rather nice especially considering that I left there without spending a single cent. Yippee!
Then today, I had a visit from a gracious friend, who gave me their empty bag of Starbucks coffee. Why would she give me an empty bag of coffee? How cruel and ungracious, you may be saying! But no, I was able to take my bagged lunch along with that empty Starbucks bag and enjoy my lunch break at the mall while sipping on a free cup of Starbucks coffee. Yum!
Yes, with an empty bag of Starbucks coffee you receive a free tall coffee. Since I've got a registered card with them I also was able to receive a free refill before returning to work. :D
And again it was especially rewarding since I left the mall without spending a single cent! HaHa!!
