Are the current fees that banks charge adequate or extreme? Please let us know your opinion.

It seems those in this competition (Florida Commerce customers) are doing better than I am when it comes to banking fees. I bank at a regular bank and my fees are generally higher. I recently read an article concerning bank fees and according to that article credit unions usually have lower banking fees.

Not only do banks require a higher minimum balance than credit unions, banks also have much higher and a larger quantity of fees. When I used a bank, I didn't know what most of the fees were for. That's when I decided to start using a credit union. There are less fees, cheaper fees, lower minimum balance required, and the interest rates are so much better.

and the people are nicer at the Credit Union too... (Florida Commerce Credit Union that is!)
